Becoming proud parents to our two schnauzer cross boys 16 years ago inspired this dream. We couldn't find anywhere that met our expectations to leave our boys, like a home away from home, with comforts they were used to. Somewhere they'd really enjoy, without adding worry to our trip.
Our boys are our family, so we totally understand other owners' anxiety when leaving their precious guys. Our boys share everything in our home with us so the thought of them being locked away for long parts of the day as is the case in so many boarding options made us feel extremely anxious. It wasn’t something we were prepared to even contemplate.
This set us on a long road to create the absolute best, our Woof Woof Ranch from scratch, to share with you.
We created real luxurious boutique boarding, exclusively for smaller breeds of dogs of all ages. Nothing is too good for our guests. Nestled on 4 acres, we have an abundance of outside space, absolutely loved by all our guys, so important to us for them. An amazing location overlooking the gorgeous Hauraki Plains and Coromandel Ranges. We have created a real holiday experience that dogs really dream of.
Woof Woof Ranch is a purpose built, modern, state of the art, home design. It encompasses everything we could want for our boys, to share with you. The absolute best in boarding and doggy day care options.
Exclusively for small numbers of smaller breeds means that our guests have the run of the whole of Woof Woof Ranch rather than having to be separated to areas for size. Successful in many countries, similar exclusive accommodation has proven being with similar sizes alleviates stress for many dogs, making their stay even more relaxing and fun. We cater for all ages from pups to pensioners.
Our Ranch is totally Cage free, with individual bedroom suites just for nighttime and mealtimes. Individually designed Woof Woof wooden beds, mattresses and luxury bedding don each suite. A home design, for a more stress free, relaxing environment. Climate control for all round year comfort for our guests.
Woof Woof Ranch is boutique, family run, by us, with us on site 24 hours a day to be there so every need is met, whatever and whenever needed. Open 365 days of the year. Our guests build close relationships with us, as we are a small team, which provides extra comfort for them.
We are experienced and trained in all aspects of canine care and behaviour. Having years of valuable lifelong personal ownership experience, SPCA Canine voluntary experience and also professional studies with certification in Canine care and behaviour. Our team are also certified in Pet First Aid. Our guests receive exactly what they need at all times in a safe and high-quality environment. Attention, Canine enrichment, love and care guaranteed. Our guests are never just a number they are part of our family.
A real home from home is provided at the ranch, exactly as we would want for our boys. We ensure every day is a fabulous one for the guys holidaying with us, and love that our own furry boys enjoy spending their days making new friends, the absolute perfect life for them too.
Providing all needs, from day-care amazing for socialising and building confidence, Luxury boarding short or long term, and spruce ups at our spa facility we have it all .
It is so important to us that our guests have the ability to choose their days, playing supervised all day, inside or outside in the fully fenced grassed play areas, their choice, or chilling and observing. This ensures all personalities and individual needs are met.
Different individual areas for relaxing like home are accessible to all with us, whether its following Mrs Woof Woof making a cup of tea, baking in the kitchen, doing laundry, playing frisbee, chasing friends, stimulation and enrichment, we really do have it all.
Our fabulous location, under an hour’s drive from South Auckland and less than 1km from SH 25 ensures ease for owners for drop offs en- route to Coromandel or Tauranga.
